LAMB ME YOUR RECIPE: 
LAMB FRIED RICE

Preparation: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 25 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 450 grams of lamb, small dice

  • 1000 grams of cooked white rice​

Ground spices (blended into a paste):

  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin

  • 2 cm turmeric root

  • 1.5 cm ginger root

  • 8 spring onions

  • 5 cloves of garlic

  • 3 pcs cardamom

  • 4 cloves

OTHER INGREDIENTS & SEASONING

  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

  • 1 stick cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoon curry powder

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder

  • ½ teaspoon ground coriander

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

  • 300 ml of water

  • 2 tablespoon kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)

  • 2 teaspoon salt

  • ½ tablespoon palm sugar

  • 1 teaspoon of stock powder

DIRECTIONS

1. Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil then sauté spice paste, cinnamon, curry powder and all spices until fragrant and cooked.

2. Add the lamb pieces, stir well until the lamb changes colour, add water, soy sauce, salt, sugar, and stock powder, stir until the lamb is cooked

3. Turn off the stove then add the rice, stir until the spices are well blended, turn on the stove again, stir the fried rice until it's dry and hot, remove from heat. Serve with pickled carrot and cucumber, prawn crackers and crispy fried shallots.
