LAMB ME YOUR RECIPE: 
LAMB NOODLES IN BROTH

Preparation: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams of lamb

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 700 ml of water

  • 1 batch of egg noodles

  • 3 tablespoons of kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)

  • 2 tablespoon of sambal (chilli jam) 

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 2 tomatoes, quartered

  • 3 pieces of cabbage, sliced

  • 2 bunches of bok choy

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • 2 teaspoons sugar

GROUND SPICES

To ground into a paste

  • 6 spring onions

  • 6 cloves of garlic

  • 3 candlenuts

  • ½ teaspoon dried shrimp

DIRECTIONS

1. Boil lamb with garlic, pepper, and salt until tender, remove from heat and drain.

​2. Sauté spice paste until fragrant, then add the meat and broth, cook until boiling, add the kecap manis and other ingredients, stir well then add the egg - cook to soft-boiled. 

 

3. ​Add noodles and cook until done, add cabbage and bok choy, stir briefly, remove from heat and serve.
